Main characters
-William Trundle
-Mr. Bob Trundle (William’s father)
-Santa
-The elves
-Brenda Payne (The meanest girl in school)
-The Hunter and his dog Growler
-The Christmasaurus

I liked the Christmasaurus because firstly, it brings me in the Christmas spirit and secondly because he’s the main character.

What happens?
The Christmasaurus ends up in William’s house and they are hunted down by the Hunter. The Christmasaurus helps William to go to the North pole where he is safe and away from the Hunter but by the time they come back, the hunter as already set a trap for them. They managed to break out and the Christmasaurus swallowed the Hunter.
(When the Christmasaurus swallowed the Hunter, I literally burst out laughing)

Favourite part:
I like the part when they went to the North pole, I never knew that Santa’s village was so beautiful. With mini factories and houses, It made me feel all Christmasy.

Authors style:
The Author has written the book in a funny yet adventurous way. He used words like havoc and ivory. It made the book more interesting to read. He used different sentence to describe the same thing but in a better way like: “By Golly Gosh!” with a cunning smile…

Lesson or a Message:
This book taught me that even in the hardest moments, if you try it will be way easier. Like when William was stuck in the Hunters trap, He tried and tried until he got out.

Would you recommend this book?
I would recommend this book to my friends and family as a “Must read on Christmas book” because weather your sad or upset, this book will bring you into the Christmas spirit.

My Review:
Hey there, Bookworms. Today, we are jumping into an amazing Christmas adventure. So, without much further delay, let’s jump into a book called:

“The Christmasaurus” (by Tom Fletcher)

So imagine you’re sleeping calmly in bed. It’s Christmas Eve, and you can’t wait to open your gifts tomorrow, when all of a sudden you hear a CRASH!

You wake up to see a REAL dinosaur in your room! Yup, that’s what happened. William (the main character) woke up to see a real dinosaur in his room!

Like a normal kid would do, he screamed. He screamed so loud that his dad woke up (Mr. Bob Trundle).

Luckily, he hid the dinosaur before his dad came. One thing I should tell you about William is that he has a wheelchair. That’s why he was very popular in school, or WAS very popular in school before the meanest girl in the world came: Brenda Payne.

Her hair was blonde and evil (not really), and she always gave William a nasty look, which made him gulp.
From that day, everyone called William: Wheely William!

I felt sorry for William having to go through this just because he has a wheelchair. But hey, Santa’s watching…

I liked the part when William and the Christmasaurus were flying, AND yes, the Christmasaurus was a dinosaur with no wings.

All William had to do was believe that the dinosaur could fly and tada! The next second, they were flying away from the Hunter, a very, very, very bad person who hunts down mystical creatures with his dog, Growler.

The plot twist was VERY unexpected. So you know William’s dad, right… and you also know the Hunter…
But what you didn’t know was that they both were BROTHERS! Yep, even I was shocked when I found out. And that basically means that William’s uncle is the HUNTER!

Mind-blowing!

The author, Tom Fletcher, has written this book with a lot of care. I can tell because in every chapter something interesting happens, like the elves finding the Christmasaurus’s egg or when Santa made a Christmasaurus toy.

This book has taught me that even in the hardest moments, trying will help you a lot. Like when William was stuck in the Hunter’s trap, he tried all sorts of ways to get out and managed somehow in the weirdest way.

(I’m not going to say, you will have to read the book yourself.)

I really recommend you read this book on a cold winter’s night. It will be real fun!

Until then, stay tuned until the next part comes out!
Bye-bye!
