I read the book called The Firebird and really loved the book. The author has used interesting words in the book like ‘gleaming’ to describe shiny egg and ‘hard-edged’ to describe a tree branch. I also like how the author explained the whole story about the firebird. My favourite part of the book is when Ivan, the king’s youngest son, discovers the Firebird. It made me feel like I was really there. I found it sad when a silver wolf attacked Ivans horse which made me feel disapponted as well.

I really recommend this book to everybody, because the author has explained it very beautifully and it is easy to read.
