This book was really interesting because of how well explained it was.

My favourite part was when Jack found a Copper-nugget because that page of the book was very well explained.

My least favourite part was when Jack got stuck in the shaft hole because i never figured out what kind of place he was in and it just felt a little boring at that part.

The most difficult word I came across in this book was ‘phosphorescent’. I asked my Dad and he said .. ……………………………….

The funniest bit is when Olly and Jake the rude miners Thought that they got Jack in the cage but it was just Kiki the parrot.

Another good bit is when all the children went to Philip’s mum’s home and said bye to Bill Smugs and the rest of the people there.
